Our Mission
At First-Faith United Methodist Church, our mission is to share God’s love, follow Jesus, and be a light of hope to our community.
We are a United Methodist Church whose mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
What We Believe
United Methodists are part of a global Christian family that’s all about open hearts, open minds, and open doors. At our core, we’re committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Being a United Methodist means putting faith into motion, living out love in practical, everyday ways. We believe God’s love is for absolutely everyone, and we’re called to share that love through compassion, service, and grace. Jesus shows us what that love looks like through his life, teachings, death, and resurrection, and we try to follow that example as best we can.
Our roots go back to John Wesley, an 18th‑century English pastor who sparked the Methodist movement. He emphasized “practical divinity”, faith that shows up in real life, and encouraged people to use reason and personal experience as part of their spiritual journey. Those ideas still shape who we are and how we live out our faith today.
